[Mobile Monday Bangalore] MoMo Sept

Rajiv,

Very good suggestions. I am sure others would have more (IMS,
anyone?). So, lets have the suggestions pouring in.

>From the operators perspective, I understand (based on a few private
communications) that some of our operators spend pennies on their
billing systems as against US operators who spend dollars on their
billing systems. How are operators achieving this efficiency? Can
this efficiency be translated to other areas of network opex? Etc!

Lets also try and get speakers from some of our local startups that
are working on new wireless and mobile-apps technologies. We have
already heard Sujay (the very first presentation on various wireless
technologies). It would be good to get similar other speakers.

Finally, I also wanted to say that if anyone has contacts in any of
our big (or small) IT companies (Wipro, Infy, TCS, Mindtree, Satyam,
etc) we should try and get speakers from there too. These guys (the
IT company guys) might not be developing products that they are
selling themselves, but, based on various rumors, they are doing some
real cutting edge work (design and development) for their clients. I
am not sure how much these IT companies can reveal given the
legalities, but, it would be worth a shot.
