MapmyIndia v-2007 is just like Google Maps/Yahoo Maps. In fact, even better, MapmyIndia is focused on India. Visit http://www.mapmyindia.com today.
If you want to see your house on a map (the street actually), visit MapmyIndia (http://www.mapmyindia.com)
This is an Indian company’s initiative at creating an internet map site that will come up and do as much as Google and Mapquest has done. We’re also adding an Indian twist to the things we do. Check out this concept called ‘eLocation’ MapmyIndia has introduced.
eLocation allows you to get maps and directions to a peron’s place, and the cool thing is that it gives you the directions in the words of that person (take a left after you see a panwallah, go inside that gate…u know, how people explani directions in India).
Search for this sample elocation and you’ll see what I mean. The id is: mapmyindia
Looking forward to your comments on the blog or through mail (my email address is: )
Thanks and hope you can enjoy India in much much more detail =)

Thanks for writing I have checked mapmyindia previously and I like it very much. Have not been able to test all the features especially those which are paid Personally even though I like it very much but I don’t find it compelling to pay on monthly basis to check out the features in it. This situation might change in the future though :). If it might cost less I might think about it right away
If I am not wrong you folks have a mobile product as well. Also I guess you are situated in Delhi but just in case if you would be traveling to Bangalore we could have session/talk from you guys at MoMo Bangalore (http://bangalore.mobilemonday.in) about your mobile related products, APIs etc.
And in case you would like to do it in Delhi then you could get in touch with Prashanth(http://knowprashant.blogspot.com/) who coordinates the MoMo Delhi chapter. IIRC they were planning another MoMo in few weeks/month.

Dear All,
As you must be aware 3GSMA is organising Mobile Asia Congress in Macau from 18-20 November, 2008. This year we had approached them for having an “INDIA PAVILION” at the fair for showcasing India’s competence in the Mobile VAS arena. This effort is in line with IAMAI’s commitment to promote the Mobile VAS industry in India as well as in abroad.
Exhibiting at the Mobile Asia congress will give you an opportunity to meet with some of the key decision makers and it will also help you in:
-Building up customer base - generate new business leads and cultivate existing customer relationships
-Developing business networks within the Mobile value chain
-Augmenting the market share-by showcasing the new products/content
-Brand recognition
-Marketplace understanding-to gain greater knowledge of all industry players and their roles.
Benefits for being a part of the India Pavilion are:
-Getting the space at a discounted rate which will be £385 per sqmt for members and £435 for non members, instead of £510, if in case you directly approach them.
-Providing an impetus in promoting India as a brand.
-International exposure
I am writing to seek your participation in the Exhibition. For more details please visit us at http://www.iamai.in/MobilACon.aspx or you call Mehul at +91-9810375413 or Gaurav at + 91-9967029292
regards,
Mehul
